My heartfelt congratulations to Small Free Library and Timeless Amritsar for launching this much-needed initiative to foster a love for reading in Amritsar.

When I learned that a Small Free Library had been set up in one of the city’s most popular cafes, Café Delhi Heights, I was overjoyed.

This initiative not only encourages book reading as a fulfilling hobby but also strengthens the book industry by making literature more accessible to everyone.

A Simple Yet Powerful Concept

What makes this concept truly brilliant is its simplicity and efficiency. Anyone can participate—just bring a book, place it in the library, and take another in exchange. This creates a dynamic reading ecosystem, ensuring fresh titles are always available.

There is an undeniable charm in visiting a library—browsing through titles, reading back covers, and discovering new worlds and ideas. Now, rather than purchasing a new book, readers can simply swap one at the library, making literature more sustainable and community-driven.
